It's been a month since my last entry on our Maulidurrasul celebration. Not because there's no story to tell, but because there are too many of them! Plus, I've been struggling with my own state of health now & then; bronchitis, migraine. I'm feeling quite well at the moment and as time also permits, let me share the month full of colourful events! ;-)
17th February 2012: Rayyan is 3!

Alhamdulillah, our mujahid, Kasyfee Rayyan, turned 3 on Friday, 17th February 2012. And he celebrated his birthday with a broken thumb! We didn't celebrate with a cake or anything like that since I had a class that Friday night and Keena also had tahfiz class. We planned to celebrate his birthday together with his buddy, Imran Raheesh (my sister's son), who turned 2 on 21st February 2012, some time soon. (Check out here

20th - 22nd February 2012: Me down with bronchitis... ;-(
As much as I hate to be sick, Allah knows best. I pray that Allah forgive my sins through the sickness He gave to test me. Also, looking at the bright side of it, Allah maybe want me to rest and take things easy. Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli haal... :-)
23rd February 2012: My Beloved Husband turned 35! ;-D
Alhamdulillah, my beloved prince charming turned 35 on this day. I was still not feeling so well, but I did plan a small surprise for my husband:~

The "surprise" was supposed to be delivered to him at his office on that day. Turned out, he had to take a leave because his cousin passed away that morning. And I had to made arrangement so that he get the "surprise" on his birthday, regardless of where he was. In the end, the "surprise" had to be delivered to our home and a bit later in the afternoon. He was quite surprised, so I thought the "surprise" idea worked but the passing away of his cousin on the same day of his birthday kind of stole the 'thunder' a bit... ;-( Nevertheless, Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli haal...
1st March 2012: Safe Journey Pak Su & Family to Holy Land - Makkah
Alhamdulillah, our Pak Su & his family have been 'invited' to do umrah in Makkah. So, being our dad's youngest (and 'spoiled'.. hehe..) brother, he decided to do a small feast at our parents' house. I was so busy helping out my mom and aunts to cook and prepare for the feast that I didn't have the chance to take pictures. Just able to take this from my sister's facebook:

3rd March 2012: Cousin 'Aqilah Pre-Wedding Feast
Our dear cousin is tying the knot! So we had a small pre-wedding feast at Pak Long's house. What's new?:~

4th March 2012: Keena "Nasyid"
She had been practicing forever! Every night I was forced to hear her singing the song ~ 'Pergi Tak Kembali'. And on this day, she got to prove it all. I was so proud of her even though her group didn't win. She was really upset that she didn't win and I had trouble trying to calm her down. She's one always-want-to-win girl!
9th - 10th March 2012: Cousin 'Aqilah Pinky Fairytale Wedding!
I call it wedding of the year. (I think they even beat Yusry KRU & Lisa Surihani's glam wedding! Hehe..). Cleo Studio did an excellent job, and most important, Mak Long (the mother of the bride) has the most creative hands and can do wonders with whatever she touches! (I am not exaggerating people...) Do not believe me? Let's just indulge these...

Subhanallah, despite the fact that we sometimes (or maybe most of the time) forget to thank Allah for our happy lives, Allah is still always The Most Merciful. He grants us with many many happy moments and for that we should be thankful. So let's ponder upon this beautiful words of Allah, may we be blessed by Him, Insya Allah ~
